Terms of service

Welcome to Husqy!
These Terms of Service ("ToS") govern your access and use of Husqy (“the bot”, "us" or "we"), a Discord bot designed to provide different functionality and services to your server. By inviting and using the bot, users (“you” or “your”) agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, you may not use Husqy.

1. Acceptance of Terms​

By adding Huqsy to, or, using Husqy in a Discord server, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service. The server administrator is responsible for ensuring that all members who interact with the bot are aware of and comply with these terms.

These terms apply to all users, including but not limited to server owners, administrators, and individual members.

2. License and Bot Usage​

Husqy is provided to you under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the bot for its intended purpose. You agree that:

  • You will use the bot in compliance with these terms, Discord’s Terms of Service, and any applicable laws and regulations.
  • You will not attempt to exploit, abuse, or disrupt the bot or its services.
  • You are responsible for any content or actions that occur while using the bot in your server.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the bot at any time if you violate these terms or if we detect misuse.

3. Prohibited Conduct​

When using Husqy, you agree not to:

  • Use the bot for illegal activities or to promote hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or violence.
  • Exploit the bot to harm others or Discord’s network (e.g., through spamming, flooding, or any form of malicious activity).
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or create derivative works based on the bot or its underlying code.

Any misuse of the bot will result in immediate removal and potential reporting to Discord.

4. Bot Functionality​

Husqy is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While we strive to maintain reliable functionality, we do not guarantee that the bot will always be operational or free of errors.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue certain features of the bot at any time, with or without notice.

5. Data Collection and Privacy​

By using Husqy, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in our Privacy Policy. For more details, please review our full Privacy Policy.

6. Liability​

We strive to provide the best possible experience with Husqy, but we do not guarantee that the bot will be error-free or uninterrupted. You agree that:

  • Husqy, its developers, and its affiliates will not be held responsible for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the bot.
  • This includes any loss of data, server disruptions, or damage to your Discord server, account, or related services.

You use the bot at your own risk, and we provide no warranty or guarantee of service.

7. Termination of Service​

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to Husqy for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violations of these ToS.
  • Requests by law enforcement.
  • Discontinuation or changes to the bot’s services.

Termination may result in the removal of the bot from your server and loss of any associated data.

8. Changes to These Terms​

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated ToS. If we make any significant changes, we will notify users via Discord or update the effective date at the top of this document. It is your responsibility to review these terms regularly.

Your continued use of the bot after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law​

These Terms and your use of the bot shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law provisions.
